Our current Membership Secretary is based in Crawley, and we print our own ID cards in Sussex which are mailed out.
Potentially (pending speaking to the membership secretary) we could offer to print Surrey’s cards and mail them out directly to the members. Cost is likely to be £1.50 a card delivered, we would only ask that we send them once 5 or 10 have come in just to save our poor MemSec doing one’s and two’s of cards.
To reduce the cost, and I haven’t worked it out exactly, but if the cards a submitted to us as a large batch and we mail them to one Surrey member for distribution within your group, the cost would probably drop to around £1 a card.

Let me know what you think

P.S. we currently have all our members renew through the web shop, for us this then almost completely automates the renewal process. The webshop takes drops the renewal monies straight into the bank account, generates a royal mail postage label and also a list of all the members renewing. The only real manual bit is physically printing the card and putting it in the envelope.

Hi Ross, that sounds like a very good option for us. I’ll ensure the people looking into this know.
